TWWA Tagolwanen Handwoven Sodsod Grass Round Mats
These round handwoven banig mats come with traditional Tagoloanen designs passed on through the tribe’s generations of weavers. Use the mats as floor accents for your working and living space. Or use it to comfortably rest indoors or outdoors. The mats are hand woven using sodsod grass, which is durable and cool to the skin. The sodsod threads do not scratch your clothes or skin. The Tagoloanen weave interlocks the sodsod threads securely, guaranteeing a durable mat that will be enjoyed for many years to come.

Decorative baskets with wooden handles, handwoven with Bukidnon-Tagolwanen tribe traditonal design, where the design is formed while weaving the base container (not plain weave then inserted with design). Now repurposed for modern living, the putal was traditionally used by the Bukidnon-Tagolwanen tribe to hold grain. Handles are hand-stitched.

Rectangular large floor mat with Bukidnon-Tagolwanen tribe traditonal handwoven designs. The patterns are formed during weaving, these are not plain weave mats then inserted with design. The different designs and patterns depend on the weaver’s dream & imagination, but most are inspired by nature. Made from sodsod grass, the mat is soft and does not scratch the skin or clothes. It is cool to the skin when used during warm weather, and comfortably warm when the temperature is cool.
